How to Look Naturally Beautiful

Nobody needs pounds of makeup to look beautiful. Sometimes, wearing too much makeup makes you seem less confident about the way you look, so you need makeup to cover it up with. Read on for how to look naturally beautiful.

Steps

  1. Start by taking a sauna to wake up your face and give you a natural glow. This will wake up your skin and make you look amazing and refreshed. After that, make sure to eat a breakfast that’s healthy with fruits and skim milk.
  2. Wash your face, and moisturize your skin with SPF 30 and letting the lotion set for 10 minutes. Make sure to do your makeup in the most natural day light possible to avoid obvious mistakes!
  3. Add some foundation to even out your skin tone (have naturally clear skin…a zit here and there is okay as long as it’s not taking over your whole face.) Do not try to cake on the foundation because then it will look obvious. Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse is excellent and cheap. Apply small amounts with clean fingers until you cover your face.
  4. Add some powder to set your foundation (again, not too much!)
  5. Add some pink blush to the apples of your cheeks (smile when you’re putting it on).
  6. Add some black eyeliner on your bottom lids if you feel you need it (do not make it obvious because that’s the whole point) but apply a little bit so you don’t look like you have small and weird eyes.
  7. Apply a lipstick (not lip-gloss!) that’s a cherry color and has no sparkles, shine, or gloss. It has to look like it’s your natural color of your lips and make sure to apply it perfectly and to blend well! Sometimes, applying with your fingers will get a more natural look and less intense if the color is really dark. Also, don’t forget to exfoliate your lips at night and then applying Vaseline for extremely kissable lips.
  8. Finally, add your Prada glasses (if you want), sweats, and messy bun for your just “rolled out of bed, but look extremely good” look.


Tips

  • Drink plenty of water daily. Water keeps your skin glowing and your body healthy.
  • Take vitamins daily (C and multivitamins) for long, strong hair and nails, and a healthy body.
  • Put the mascara on the top and bottom layers of your eyelashes to make them look longer.
  • Keep mascara on the lower lashes to a minimum. It leads too easily to raccoon eyes.
  • Make sure your sunscreen is oil-free and non-comedogenic (won't clog pores).
  • Always wash your face and remove makeup before going to bed.
  • If your lashes are light colored, consider using a lash tint (or getting your lashes professionally tinted) to define your eyes.
  • If your eyelashes do not have a natural curl, curl your eyelashes, even if you do not wear mascara. It will open your eyes and give you a nicer appearance.
  • If you don't wear makeup for a while before doing this, your makeup will look much better and you will look better. Therefore, consider going without makeup for about four days or so, this way, your skin will thank you and your makeup will look flawless.
